The Toddler Terror Rant

This week for #effitfriday instead of me ranting to you I thought that instead I would pass over to the Toddler about the biggest problems he has faced this week that he needs to rant about.

And believe me.  He’s had a tough week.  There’s this mean mummy who is stopping all his fun….

Mummy won’t let me drink juice all the time.  I love juice.  I don’t care that it has so much sugar that I run round in circles.  I like running in circles. And bouncing.  Bouncing is fun.  Juice should be allowed at all times.  Not just for treats.

And she won’t just let me watch TV all day.   Planes is the best film ever. We need to watch it on repeat.  Every day.  All day.  Does she not know I’m not interested in doing spider crafts.  Pfft.

Cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a perfectly acceptable request demand.  Why can’t people realise this?

They are my toys.  I don’t want to be told to share.  It’s mine therefore it’s my go.  Unless I’m at your house.  Then don’t you know it’s rude not to share?  I’m the guest therefore it’s MY go.

William rant

Socks.  Who needs them?  Not me.  Why mummy and daddy insist I put them on is beyond me.  Just give me flip flops who needs real shoes.

Don’t block me from going outside.  I.  DON’T. CARE. that it’s over forty degrees and I might burn my feet.  I. Want. To. Play. Outside. Got it?

Whhhhhhhhhhy did you let me play outside? My feet. Owwwwwwww. My feet. You could have at least put shoes and socks on me.

I don’t need to nap. Or go to bed. Why do you insist on forcing me to do both?

Bathtime is for BABIES.  I’m a big boy.  But I love the bath.  No I want to get out. Myyyyyyyyy waaaaater! Myyyyyy biiiiiiig waaaaaaater. Mummmmmmmmy.

And there you have it, life is tough for a 2 year old but he feels much better now he’s ranted it out!

Happy #effitfriday.

I love this post (and the related baby one). May have to borrow this idea (I will give you a nod in the post if I do).
