Teething and Funky Giraffe Bibs

According to my husband I’ve been saying the baby has been teething at least once a day since he’s been born.

He’s probably right.

The problem with teething is that it’s hard to tell and its so easy to blame everything on teething.

Besides, with the toddler being an early teether, first 2 popping out at 5 months and full set including back molars by 18 months it’s kind of to be expected that this would be happening with Baby Boy. And I can see them.

Sigh.

Teething means drool. And drool means soggy clothes and drool rash. Which is where Funky Giraffe Bibs come in!

I love a good bib and in my opinion Funky Giraffe Bibs are some of the best with both design and quality. I like bibs to enhance an outfit. To look cute while providing protection from drool and to mop up a bit of baby sick along the way.

My first forray into bandana bibs ended badly when I picked up some cheap handmade bibs from eBay back when the Toddler was just a dot. They gaped at the top so all the drool pool round his chin and in his neck rolls. Then I made the move to Funky Giraffe Bibs and never looked back. So when they got in touch to ask if I wanted to try out their new designs for Baby Boy I JUMPED. Yes please.

Which is how this beautiful package was waiting for me at my mums, a wide array of designs chosen and a mix of fleece and the new cotton design.

And I am impressed.

The Baby looks cute. The cotton backed designs are perfect for being out in Dubai whilst not losing any of the absorbancy of their fleece counterparts. With the amount of drool we are producing it really was an incredible test!

Not only that but with a popper mechanism rather than Velcro they both stay on and wash well. No one likes the furry Velcro feel do they? The poppers are spaced so you can adjust to fit your baby, so we tried it out on all of us….

They really are a one size fits all!

Available in the Funky Giraffe Bibs, France, America and Australia the bibs are reasonably priced starting at £4 for a singular bib with discounts offered when you purchase multiple bibs taking the price down to just £2. Same as a cup of coffee!

I love ours and the fashion statement they make as well as the practicalities of mopping up baby drool!

Disclaimer; I received our bibs for free in return for an open and honest review

Aw these bibs look lovely! My youngest lived in dribble bibs for the first 16 months as he was such a droplet and I tried so many different makes of bibs #maternitymondays xx

The poppers make this virtually impossible! The toddler couldn’t even get his off without help!

These bibs are so cute! I’ll have to check out their website as we seem to have lost bibs!! Goodness knows how, but it’s great to know these will be up to the job once Baby H starts teething again -maybe we’ll actually get teeth this time!
Hope you’ve not had too many sleepless teething nights! X
