Week Five #rememberingthesedays Round Up

Clare from Mudpie Fridays and I have launched our very own Instagram Community #rememberingthesedays for photographs that capture the special moments in family life.  Every Sunday we will be sharing our favourites on the blog and over on Instagram.

This week I am a little late with my post, mainly because I’ve been busy enjoying a family weekend away in Paris, which is where my favourite Instagram photo this week was taken.  Not only that, but we are over 1000 photos linked up using #rememberingthesedays.  I am loving seeing all your precious family moments shared.

Clare and I would love you to join us next week, we love seeing those precious family moments from the ordinary moments to the extraordinary, because let’s face it, when you have children even the ordinary moments become special.   Simply tag any photos of your memories #rememberingthesedays.

Paris in the Sunshine

We’ve had a wonderful weekend in Paris, the sun shone, the boys behaved beautifully about 90% of the time. We dealt with tantrums and laughter, playing and culture. We visited the Paris Plages, the iconic Eiffel Tower and I was a little underwhelmed at the Mona Lisa. We enjoyed each other. We irritated each other. We drank wine and ate cheese. All in all, it was pretty fabulous!

My favourite photo was taken on our last night, when we decided to leave the restaurant scene behind and took a picnic to the local park where we watched the boys run around as we ate bread and cheese, drinking rose.

Bubblegum shouldn’t be an ice cream flavour

I didn’t think it was possible to not want to eat ice cream, until I saw what Monkey was tucking into….

We’d love to see your #rememberingthesedays photos, please do tag us over on Instagram
