Money makes the world go round. Round and round and round. But people are often so secretive about money, a lot of people blog as a full time job, as a part time job, for pocket money. I love Leanne from A Slice of My Life Wales income report for July. It’s interesting to know the different ways you can monetise your blog, and I love seeing that you can do it.
Martyn’s favourite post was from the lovely Debbie at My Random Musings with her post on what NOT to do when setting up a blog Facebook page.
Our #blogstorm Blogging Tips
A little bit of a different one from me this month, moving to a new city, a new country has taken its toll on me and the boys. I wrote a post from the heart on the loneliness of putting yourself out there and from that one post shared on Facebook the expats of Doha took me to their hearts, reached out to me, offered washing machines to wash pants, play dates to save my sanity, cake to soothe my soul. That is the power of blogging. That is the power of words.
Martyn is linking a post I fully resonate with, my own folder of blog posts is full of half written drafts where the words don’t flow. This month Martyn is asking “Why can’t I finish my posts?”
