I saw the magic milk experiment a while back and filed it for future reference. Then the weather here reached stupid temperatures coupled with a bout of bronchiolitis for Baby Boy meant I was desperately thinking of quick wins to do in the house.
And so I pulled the magic milk experiment out. If you don’t know what it is then you’ve come to the right place, it’s where the milk magically swirls the colours. All by itself.
Magic.
And to do is fairly simple and inexpensive. All you need is some full fat milk, some food colouring, a bit of the old fairy liquid and a cotton bud.
1. Pour a shallow layer of milk on a plate
2. Drop some food colouring into the milk. TIP use liquid food colouring not the posh Wilton gel colour.
3. Dip the cotton bud in the fairy liquid the dip it in the milk.
4. The milk will start to swirl the colours of its own accord.
Magic.
Oh wow this looks so pretty. I didn’t even guess that this would happen. I’m going to try this at home this week. What a fun party trick! š
