It’s Sunday, which means that it is time for the #rememberingthesedays for photographs that capture the special moments in family life round up with myself and Clare from Mudpie Fridays . Sundays mean weekly round up time – whoop whoop!
When we first started #rememberingthesedays we weren’t really sure what to hope for, some 40-odd weeks later we have had over 40,000 photos tagged and have been delighted to share in so many precious family moments with you all.
We would love you all to keep joining in next week, we love seeing those precious family moments from the ordinary moments to the extraordinary, because let’s face it, when you have children even the ordinary moments become special. Simply tag any photos of your memories #rememberingthesedays for a chance to feature.
Every week when I look through the photos I look for a theme that jumps out at me. This week reminds me of a book I read called “Where Bluebells Chime” when I was in my early twenties. A romantic novel set in World War II and part of a set of five books all named after wild flowers; the idea behind the title is that the bluebells chime so softly they can’t be heard by human ears only by dogs; the dogs in question are buried in a field of bluebells and it is where two star crossed lovers meet again – I shall meet you where bluebells chime. Since reading the book I’ve always wanted to go to a field of bluebells, funnily enough they don’t grow out here in Qatar so I am living vicariously over all of these beautiful photos.

Four years married
Last Thursday was my four year anniversary, and what a four years it’s been. Life can sometimes feel a bit mundane, especially when we have no plans at the weekend, but looking back at everything we’ve crammed in over the four years I can safely say that life with my husband is one big adventure!
Beach days, fun days
This is quite simply one of the happiest photos I’ve seen this week!
We’d love to see your #rememberingthesedays photos, please do tag us over on Instagram.
Thank you so much for including me. It has made my day. I love the idea of that book. Hugs Lucy xxxx
Thank you for including my photograph of Olly. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the bluebells were and typically Olly poses for a lovely *eye roll* photo x
