Dubai Review; PAUL Picnic

A couple of weekends ago, for the first time this year, we had nothing on.  No plane to catch.  No visitors arriving.  No brunch to go too.  Just the four of us.  At home.  All weekend.

Lovely.

So when PAUL Arabia asked if we’d like to review their new picnic, we obviously said yes.  While in the UK picnic weather may seem far, far away (and even then it’s the one day a year right?) The winter months are perfect picnic weather in Dubai.  Some mornings have even seen us layering up with jeans and coats…. but I think we may just be a bit nesh these days.

A choice to be made between a breakfast picnic and a lunch picnic, we choose lunch for four people at 259AED containing sandwiches and salads, as well as cakes, to feed all of us. You could choose 4 salads, or 4 sandwiches, or a mix, so we went with 2 of each. And a variety of cakes for Ms. Sweet Tooth. Eagerly awaiting the delivery of our picnic, the Big One asking whether it was nearly here every three minutes, the doorbell rang and lunch was served.

The PAUL Picnic Experience

And how it was served. Spreading the complimentary red and white check picnic blanket over our outside table, the Baby poised in highchair and the Big One ready fork in hand we got to unpacking our delights.

And the Baby got stuck in.

With us all filled with the delicious offerings, the Baby went off for a nap and the Big One charged around our garden as we watched. The perfect ending to a perfect lunchtime.

The PAUL picnic is available for two or four people and can be either breakfast or lunch. A variety of foods to choose from means you can make up the perfect picnic to suit your needs. Breakfast picnics start from 109AED and lunch picnics start from 159AED. It really is a picnic on the go, why not pick up a bag and head out to your favourite spot in Dubai, our next spot to try, thanks to Abbey from the Son and the Moon, is Al Qudra Lakes – have you been?

Disclosure; I received a PAUL Picnic basket in exchange for an honest review. All opinions, and chocolate munching babies, are my own
