#RememberingTheseDays – faceless in Spring

It’s Sunday, which means that it is time for the #rememberingthesedays for photographs that capture the special moments in family life round up with myself and Clare from Mudpie Fridays .  Sundays mean weekly round up time – whoop whoop!

Last week I said I was back on form, obviously not as I rush to get the roundup together once again.  This week I am definitely going to be more organised, I have my youngest at nursery and a plan so let’s see how that goes!

When we first started #rememberingthesedays we weren’t really sure what to hope for, some 40-odd weeks later we have had over 37,000 photos tagged and have been delighted to share in so many precious family moments with you all.

We would love you all to keep joining in next week, we love seeing those precious family moments from the ordinary moments to the extraordinary, because let’s face it, when you have children even the ordinary moments become special.   Simply tag any photos of your memories #rememberingthesedays for a chance to feature.

My little ray of sunshine

This toddler of mine is the worlds most joyful soul, he is always happy, always smiling.  A true ray of sunshine.

And his hat is my favourite….

The mum behind the Instagram

Both mine and Clare’s Instagram feeds are very similar in one respect, we have photo after photo of adorable boys.

This is my favourite photo of Clare this week, a photo of just her. Something that her boys will love to look back on one day. Plus, 20 random facts? Yes please.

I was tagged by the lovely @laura_babykicks and @dearbearandbeany to share 20 facts about myself. So here they are: 1.When I was a little girl I didn’t have any freckles! Now I am covered head to toe 2.If given the choice of restaurant I will always choose Thai 3.I am qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner 4. My ice breaker is the fact I walked on fire to raise money for charity 5.I love an Aperol Fizz, especially in Venice 6.I would happily holiday in Italy every year and hope to buy a property there one day 7.My husband is almost ten years older than me, we were set up by some friends 12 years ago, and have been married for 8 years in Sept 8.If I had more free time I would do more yoga 9. I had my wedding shoes made, they were more important to me than the dress! 10.I have a weakness for Dairy Milk. Nothing else comes close 11.My favourite flowers are peonies and David Austin Roses, last year my husband made me a mini rose garden 12.I always wanted to live in a house with a red door when I was a child 13.One day I want to retrain as a garden designer, my dream would be to create a garden for Chelsea 14.I don’t drink coffee, in fact I hate it. I can’t even stomach coffee cake apart from when I was pregnant with Monkey 15.I get itchy feet if we haven’t got any trips or holidays planned. If I won the lottery I would travel the world taking the boys along for the ride. 16.I lost one of my close friends to cancer when Monkey was fifteen months old, she was my age and dearly missed. It made me revaluate everything that is important in life. I never put off to tomorrow incase it doesn’t come.  17.I am happy with all the decisions I have made in my life, even the less inspired ones – no regrets. 18.I’m a secret festival goer and love live music. My favourite songs are Sitting on the Dock of the Bay and American Pie. 19.I am rubbish at learning languages and can only speak English and count to ten in German and French 20.I had both boys in the same delivery room!
