Week Four #rememberingthesedays Round Up

Clare from Mudpie Fridays and I have launched our very own Instagram Community #rememberingthesedays for photographs that capture the special moments in family life.  Every Sunday we will be sharing our favourites on the blog and over on Instagram.

This week we have been so excited as we are so close to 1,ooo posts tagged on #rememberingthesedays and we have been spoilt for choice on what photographs to feature!

Clare and I would love you to join us next week, we love seeing those precious family moments from the ordinary moments to the extraordinary, because let’s face it, when you have children even the ordinary moments become special.   Simply tag any photos of your memories #rememberingthesedays.

Summer Days and Sweet Treats

A gorgeous capture from Becky from Dillydrops at @bekb65 as summer came back, what better way is there to cool down on a summers day than to enjoy a homemade ice lolly?

Wishing Wells

Gorgeous capture of her girls making wishes from @munchkinhart, I wonder what they wished for….

Hiding from the Summer

Hayley from @sparklesandstretchmarks captured this stunning image when they escaped the heat heading into the forest, I love it because our boys are roughly the same age and I have a very similar one of the Baby that always makes me smile.

Summer Fun

A splashing good time was had at Louise from @littleheartsbiglove house….I love the way she has captured the water flying in the air.

Achieving Goals

Normally my favourite posts are one of my boys, either solo or together. And while this week I have taken so many beautiful images of them, as we enjoyed a wonderful day out at the National Forest Adventure Farm (and captured our adventure in the Maize Maze over on YouTube) this week I am stepping away from mum life. I think it is so important to take some time to yourself and recently my time has been taken by running. I’ve been busy taking on the local parkrun and leading myself in a journey back to fitness. My goal all along has been an under 30 minute parkrun, yesterday I achieved that. Yesterday I smashed it. Yesterday my time was a lifetime personal best. Yesterday I ran 5km in 28 minutes and 57 seconds. More than that, when I came home my biggest boy ran up to me gave me a big cuddle and kiss to tell me congratulations for winning the race.

Family Portraits

Last week I chose the same image as Clare did for her favourite, I wonder if this week will be the same! I couldn’t not choose the gorgeous family portrait of Clare and her boys in the lavender fields.

We’d love to see your #rememberingthesedays photos, please do tag us over on Instagram

Thank you so much for including my photo in this week’s round-up – love the other three photos too and your own favourites. Well done on managing to achieve a lifetime personal best and smashing your Parkrun goal and love that your biggest boy congratulated you on winning the race. Love Clare’s lavender field photo too 🙂
