#RememberingTheseDays Week 20

It’s Sunday, which means that it is time for the #rememberingthesedays for photographs that capture the special moments in family life round up with myself and Clare from Mudpie Fridays  and we have decided to run a #RememberingTheseDays Instagram linky where you can add up to two photos per week for some extra comment love.  Click here to head straight to the link up.

Not only that but this Sunday we need to have a klaxon sounding because after twenty weeks we are very excited to announce we have over 10,000 photos that have joined in with our hashtag! We are busy beavering away in the background to get something special sorted to celebrate, but between non-sleeping children, Christmas-a-coming and a 3 hour time difference we are yet to finalise. Watch this space though!

So yes, twenty weeks in and we continue to be blown away by the incredible images, the beautiful memories shared and the real community feel that is starting to develop.  Instagram is my happy place, and I love that you all share these precious moments with us at #rememberingthesedays.

And with that said, we would love you all to keep joining in next week, we love seeing those precious family moments from the ordinary moments to the extraordinary, because let’s face it, when you have children even the ordinary moments become special.   Simply tag any photos of your memories #rememberingthesedays for a chance to feature.

Superheroes

When you get to meet your superheroes (and cry when you’re actually face to face with Superman) we had an amazing afternoon own at Superhero Brunch this Friday…

We’ve had a lovely, if eventful, day down at the Superhero brunch @ritzcarlton Doha. We met Superman (the Baby freaked out) saw Captain America, bounced on the bouncy castle. We ate and ate and ate and ate. From Popeye spinach to superhero salads. A festive turkey dinner and hotdog donuts for the kids at the end which were amazing! We had a slight hiccup halfway through when my 4 year old turned round without looking and cut his eye on the corner of a table (oh my the blood!!) but the staff were amazing helping to look after him, checking him out and of course the magical candy floss made everything better. He soldiered on through with his little brother and still had a wonderful time. Full review to follow soon, but as they’re both tucked up in bed now after all the excitement, alongside a massive sugar overdose, we are about to follow – goodnight Instagram.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

And I for one am so excited, how cute are Monkey and Kipper?!

Happy Monday! I am definitely feeling festive now even though its only mid Nov. Having children seems to make me feel festive earlier, maybe because its all the planning that goes into it now? This picture was taken at our recent visit to Harrods Christmas Grotto. Don’t they look cute in their reindeer outfits?
