Two Special and Easy Wedding Gift Ideas

Weddings are wonderful occasions. They give you the chance to come together with friends and family to celebrate something that is truly important. It is only natural that you want to buy the bride and groom an extra special gift. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to do exactly that, here are two of my favourites.

Buy them some gold or silver

For example, you could Buy Silver from Golden Eagle Coins and give it to them as a gift. Silver, like gold, is really beautiful. Plus, if they can afford to keep it for a while it has the potential to be worth a lot more than you paid for it. For a new couple, having the security of some savings in the form of some beautiful silver coins can make a big difference. It will help them to feel more confident about the future knowing that they have something to fall back on.

Many couples keep gifts of gold or silver that they receive on their wedding day and use it when their first child is born. Doing so means they do not have to worry about how they are going to find the money to buy everything they need to take care of their new baby.

If you live in a country where it is the custom for a bride to carry a silver coin on her wedding day, you could potentially give your gift a little earlier. That way the bride would have the option of using one of your coins to follow this tradition.

Personalized homeware gifts

Personalizing a gift is an easy way to make it feel more special. Even simple items like towels and linen can be personalized. For example, you could have a monogram added. This option will not work for every couple. Some people would see monogrammed towels as too pretentious or old-fashioned. But, there are other options available.

No doubt, most of you know that you can get a photo printed onto a cushion. Again, not for everyone, but the technology used to produce them can now be used to produce truly customized linen. The way it works is that you take a high-resolution photo and send it to a specialist print firm who them prints your design out onto items like pillowcases, sheets and quilt covers. They look great.

Plus, potentially any design can be used. So, if you know they love butterflies you could gift them high-quality bedding that features a butterfly design. Any pattern, texture or color can be re-created using this technique. So, if they have a family tartan you could potentially photograph that and use it to create truly personalized wedding gifts.

If you are good at editing images, the sky is the limit. You can manipulate any photo you take to turn it into any style of image. There is plenty of free software available that allows you to do this.

Once you master the art of image manipulation you can create everything from unique curtains and blinds to throws and tablecloths. In fact, you are not limited to soft furnishings. Images can be printed out onto special paper which can be used to wrap ornaments and refinish items of furniture.

The above are just two potential ideas. If you take the time to sit down and think for a while you will come up with many others.
