And so 2015 is drawing to a close, I wanted to look back at my favourite moments in pictures. From the start of the year as a family of three, closing as a family of four. Without further ado here is 2015 My Year in Pictures.
January
Spending my birthday on the beach here in Dubai. Watching my boys walking in the waves. Shortly after I took this picture the Big One fell down and soaked himself.
February
After a bit of a blood pressure scare, the Husband sent me away, no Big One, no stress, just a night to sleep, sunbathe, relax and read!
March
The Husband ran a marathon, his goal was to run in under four hours. This was the picture that he sent me when he finished. The Boy did good.
April
The Big One meeting the Baby in hospital, after his rather dramatic birth.
May
Our first family photo shoot thanks to the incredibly talented Sophia Mattia.
June
The month that my HuffPost version of 11 Types of Mum You Meet at Baby Group went a little bit crazy. My heady heights of blog fame! The month that led me to buying my own domain, transferring to WordPress and deciding that maybe, just maybe, I could do this blog malarkey.
July
July saw us spend most of the month back in the UK to escape the summer heat of Dubai, to hit the heatwave in the UK. Ironic. It also saw me get to share one of my passions with the Big One, the theatre. Thanks to the lovely Elaine of Entertaining Elliot I was able to get some amazing tickets to see the Gruffalo in the West End.
August
A cheeky little holiday to picturesque Thailand.
September
Another trip back to the UK to watch my little brother get married, getting ready having two small children in tow was a challenge, but I think we scrubbed up well.
October
My Big Boy turned three. Sob. On the plus side he loved his digger birthday cake.
November
November saw a new found love of Instagram develop and with it, a new found enthusiasm for taking photos. This is still one of my favourites of the Big One, learning to blow bubbles, amusing the Baby as he looks on, and the jumping for joy chasing each bubble he was able to blow was adorable.
December
And a very Merry Christmas come December. Photo shoots with The Studio, Christmas Goodies baked, letters to Santa written.
What a year 2015 was.
All I can say is Happy New Year, bring on 2016.

What lovely memories, especially love the Christmas photo. I am (still) considering going self hosted which is slightly scary so would be interested to know how you found the transition. Hope you have a very Happy New Year look forward to reading more in 2016 xx

I think it was fine as I made the move from blogger to WordPress so it was a massive change whatever. I didn’t even think about doing it any other way like just buying my own domain….. in at the deep end! X
Oh what lovely photos – what a great year you have had. Happy New Year, look forward to reading more next year! Kaz x

Thanks Erin – it was a spur of the moment decision but I’ve not looked back!
What a year it has been and June looks like it was an incredible one for your blog. I would love to visit Dubai and Thailand, not just transit through them.

I was trying to find my favourite blog picture and then I gave up because I liked them all. I liked the Thailand one, your family photoshoot and January’s photo x

I think that’s a great thing because you are only using photos you love. Thailand was amazing and the picture immediately takes me back to sitting out at sunset enjoying drinks with all my boys! X
Well you most definitely did have an amazing (and scary) 2015, I hopped back to read all about the dramatic birth and wow x

Thanks Rachel – he likes to make an entrance 🙂 x
I love this post, so nice to get a glimpse into your life – blogging and otherwise 🙂 And what an eventful year! I read your birth story too and that must have been pretty scary for you at the time but thank god everything turned out ok. Well done for the Huffpost article too, amazing!

Thanks Cliona, luckily for me I was out of it on no sleep and lots of meds so wasn’t aware too much until the Dr came and told me! Terrified my husband for life though!
What a fabulous year you had and such lovely pictures too. I can’t wait to have your April moment in May this year when my son meets the new baby. So jealous you got to go to Thailand too! 🙂
